Two Reusies Finalists Among Innovators in Reusable Bag Pilots

The Reusies®, presented by Upstream and Closed Loop Partners, celebrates the pioneers, the trailblazers, the innovators and game-changing heroes who are developing a better way than throw-away, advancing systemic change and co-creating a world where we can get what we need and want without all the waste.

Closed Loop Partners released a report this week – Beyond the Plastic Bag: Sparking a Seachange for Reuse – that illustrates these reuse innovations in action. And it features two finalists for The Reusies Most Innovative Reuse Company: GOATOTE (in Consumer Packaged Goods), and Fill it Forward (in Enabling Technologies). Together with 99Bridges and ChicoBag, they collaborated on reusable bag pilots across select CVS Health, Target and Walmart stores in Northern California.

The new report shares insights to guide retailers on effective reusable bag models, a key solution as regulations to reduce reliance on single-use plastic bags grow across the U.S.

Learn more and read the full report here. And then celebrate GOATOTE, Fill it Forward, and 19 other reuse heroes at The Reusies 2022, airing virtually on September 29th at 7pm ET/4pm PT. Kristy Drutman, Founder & Creator of the wildly popular Browngirl Green media platform and podcast will be the evening’s host. Register today – you don’t want to miss it!
