City of Sunnyvale: Tasty Indian Subs & Pizza

Participating in the City of Sunnyvale's Foodware Pilot Program, a city-provided grant and technical assistance incentive program, allowed Tasty Indian Subs & Pizza to replace their disposable plates, cups and cutlery with durable, reusable products. In making these changes, they stopped 118,625 pieces (1,573 pounds) of single-use plastic and paper disposable foodware from going to the landfill or polluting the environment every year and will save $18,036 per year after a 6-month payback period.
