Town of Framingham School Organics Diversion & Reusable Tray Program (2013)

The Town of Framingham was awarded a Sustainable Materials Recovery Program Municipal (SMRP) Grant in October 2010 from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) to establish a School Organics Diversion and Reusable Tray Program at four elementary schools. They also made the switch to reusable silverware.
