Share the Plate with ReThink Disposable: Franciscan Charities of Newark, NJ (2023)

Case study of the Francisican Charities of Newark, New Jersey, which converted 100% of their single-use disposable foodware to reusables. As a result of the switch to reuse, 936,000 single-use disposables have been avoided and over 8,000 pounds (4 tons) eliminated from the waste stream on an annual basis. The chartity will save up to $50,000 a year due to the change.
