The 2019 Single Use Foodware and Litter Reduction Ordinance, the first reuse for onsite dining policy in North America, was developed out of deep collaboration with stakeholders across the city of Berkeley to include multiple waste and litter reduction strategies. This webpage is designed to document what we did in Berkeley and to inspire others to make similar changes in their community.
