Reuse Denver: Ragin’ Hog Barbeque

Ragin' Hog BBQ is a popular barbecue spot in Denver's Berkeley neighborhood. It's known for its fresh meats smoked daily and welcoming, authentic vibe. The owners, Stacy and Colleen, are passionate about barbecue. The menu features Southern-style brisket, pulled pork, ribs, sausage, and homemade sauces. The restaurant offers counter service and a warm, rustic decor with dine-in seating.

The owner-operator duo run the business on their own and do not have a dishwashing machine. They worried about the high demand that reusable service ware might bring. So, they decided to work with Reuse Denver to swap out some of their disposable items to start. Over time, Ragin' Hog BBQ continued to add more reusable service ware to their operations. They went from having all disposables to operating with about 75% of their service ware as reusable. This will result in thousands of dollars in annual cost savings and reduced waste.
