Green Sports Alliance: Wimbledon Championships

The All England Lawn Tennis Club, home of the Wimbledon Championships, aims to have and advocate for a positive environmental impact. Specifically with regard to resource efficiency, the Club’s aim is to reduce the amount of resources consumed, avoid waste and to promote a culture of reuse. As a large event catering to around 500,000 people over the course of two weeks, Wimbledon serves a significant amount of food and drink. See page 65 of the attached document.
