Club Brugge: Jan Breydel Stadium

Club Brugge has run Borro's digital deposit system at its stadium since the start of the 2025-26 season; the first cups were issued in late July 2025. Each cup carries a unique QR code, so every hand-out and every return is logged against that one cup.

• At the bar: the deposit is added to the drink purchase through the club's existing point-of-sale and payment flow. No tokens, no app.

• At return: fans drop the cup at a return point where a camera reads its code, and the deposit goes back to the card they paid with. You can return stacks of cups.

Because every cup has its own identity, the data shows not only how many cups came back, but how often each individual cup was used and when it left the system.
