Announcing winners of The Reusies® 2024

The Most Innovative Reuse Company awards were presented at GreenBiz’s Circularity 24 on May 23, 2024

CHICAGO, May 23, 2024 - Upstream, a leading change agency for the reuse movement, officially announced the winners of the Fourth Annual Reuse Awards, The Reusies® 2024. The Reusies champions the heroes making reuse a reality for people across the US & Canada by uplifting their stories and providing them with meaningful support.

Upstream received hundreds of nominations and submissions from leading startups, environmental activists and community leaders across the United States and Canada that are growing the reuse movement.

“Reuse service providers are part of a burgeoning industry that is critical to helping create a climate-resilient, economically sustainable, and socially just world,” said Upstream CEO Crystal Dreisbach. “It’s so exciting to celebrate these activists and innovators who prove that there really are no barriers to accelerating reuse.”

The Reusies was held live from the keynote stage at Circularity 24, the leading convening of professionals building the circular economy. Hosted by GreenBiz.org’s Bryan Lewis, it included a dynamic program featuring the finalists’ and winners’ stories, as well as an inspiring talk by Crystal Dreisbach and fireside chat with Robin Raj of Green Sports Alliance. This year’s award presenters were Michelle Gabriel of Fashion Revolution and 2023 Most Innovative winners GL Genco of Generation Conscious and Caroline Vanderlip of Re:Dish.

The show also featured Circularity 24’s Emerging Leaders, with two members from this year's cohort sharing their inspiring stories onstage. Led by Bryan Lewis, this initiative aims to elevate, cultivate and support the next generation of BIPOC leaders in the climate community.

The 2024 winners of Most Innovative Reuse Company are:

  • Food & Beverage: Kadeya

  • Consumer Packaged Goods: Cabinet Health
